Good conduct certificate (PCC) may no more be mandatory

Good conduct certificate (PCC) may no more be mandatory for Indian employees traveling to UAE ( Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah)

Update 3rd April 2018: As per Gulf New Website

UAE postpones good conduct certificate requirement for job visas

According to this website, UAE Government announces the postponement of the new requirement of PCC Attestation for UAE Work Visa

But we suggest that if any applicant who has already obtained PCC from India and have it attested from Home Ministery in India and Ministry of External Affairs India then these applicants have an advantage of getting their PCC attested from UAE Embassy in 2 working days. Thus even if the current requirement of PCC/Good Conduct Certificate Attestation from UAE Embassy is postponed and if in near future it becomes applicable then having a PCC attested from Home ministry and MEA India will be a good pro-active measure towards a successful career in UAE. 27th March 2018

As per latest news from our sources, there is a high possibility that the good conduct certificate (PCC) requirement for UAE visa may get abolished in coming few days.
The reason for this may be that the overall UAE visa process for all category of employees got severely affected since this new rule came into effect from 4th February 2018 onwards.
The issuing of PCC from various passport offices/police commissioner office in India was taking around 2 weeks followed by the attestation process which took another 2 weeks so the overall visa process got delayed from 30 to 45 days on an average.
Since the requirement of Manpower in UAE, every month is huge considering their preparation for 2020 exhibition this new rule may have affected the recruitment process in all sectors.
Although this current possible changes in visa rule is a topic of hot discussion in social media and some news channels the official notification on this matter is still awaited through formal channels of UAE Embassy / Ministry of Interior UAE.
We are keenly following with our sources located at various UAE embassy in Delhi Mumbai Trivandrum and also with  MEA offices in Delhi we will update on this blog as soon as we get a formal confirmation of above.
There is also a speculation that this rule may be relaxed for a couple of weeks followed by Reimplementation of the same but everything is uncertain unless we get any formal communication from the UAE Embassy.

Even though the PCC and its attestation requirement may be abolished in future but currently the requirement of Educational Certificate Attestation, Degree Certificate Attestation, Diploma Certificate Attestation etc. still continue as it was earlier.

Also for those who want to relocate with their family, the requirement of Marriage Certificate Attestation and Birth Certificate Attestation will continue as earlier without any change of rule.
